Use to affordably add 12-volt after-market sensors to factory alarm systems.
Has two sensor ports and it wires into the factory door circuit to trigger the alarm when armed.

The AVS Detector is a factory alarm expansion module that allows after market sensors to be easily and cost effectively added to factory systems.

Many cars today come with a basic factory fitted alarm system that only triggers when a door (and sometimes the bonnet or boot) is opened. The AVS Detector allows extra sensors to be added to the factory system easily and cost effectively.

Any AVS after market sensor can be easily added including:

Shock sensor – detects an impact to the body of the vehicle.
Glass break sensor – detects the sound frequency of breaking glass.
Digital tilt sensor – protects mag wheels by setting itself for the angle the car is parked on and triggering the alarm if the car is tilted in ANY direction from one degree.
Ultrasonic sensor – detects movement within the cabin of the vehicle for superior cabin protection.
Microwave sensor – detects body mass entering the vehicle. Ideal for convertibles.
PIR sensor – triggers the alarm if the infrared sensor detects body heat and movement (use to protect the rear of vans and trucks).
Reed switch – will trigger if the two halves are moved apart while the alarm is armed (use to protect Ute canopies).
