Sealing of edge-to-edge joints;
Sealing of overlapping and connecting joints in the building industry;
Sealing in the metal, ventilation system, motor vehicle, carriage, container and machine construction sectors;
Sealing in and on busses (e.g. sealing of the air ventilation system), caravans & campers (e.g. the seal between the plywood floor and the metal frame) and trucks;
For bedding and sealing between window frames (metal, wood) and masonry;
Sealing between pre-fabricated components;
For metal sheet surrounds on chimneys;
For installation and glazing work and for all types of building components.
FEATURES
Free of aromatic solvents
Excess of Dekaseal 1512 & Dekaseal 1517 can be removed with Dekalin VD2 thinner;
Very good UV-resistance and ageing properties;
In general good adhesion on several substrates without the use of a pretreatment;
Can be used within temperatures from -30°C to +100°C;
Good chemical resistance;
Storage stability 2 years;
Can be painted over.
